Psikoislamika: Jurnal Psikologi dan Psikologi Islam is a peer-reviewed and open-access journal that publishes empirical quantitative research and/or qualitative research on psychology, Islamic psychology, and other relevant fields. This journal is indexed on Dimensions, Google Scholar, Sinta, and Portal Garuda. Psikoislamika: Jurnal Psikologi dan Psikologi Islam is available in printed-out (ISSN 1829-5703) and electronic version (ISSN 2655-5034).
Psikoislamika is published two times a year in June and December. Psikoislamika accepts current research articles that have the potential to make a significant contribution to the exploration and development of psychology and Islamic psychology. Articles submitted to this journal should present a well-thought-out study design, appropriate data analysis, and interpretation.
Psikoislamika first published in November 2004 by Faculty of Psychology UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Since, 2019, This journal has been accredited by National Journal Accreditation (ARJUNA) Managed by Ministry of Research, and Technology / National Research and Innovation Agency of Republic Indonesia with five Grade (Sinta 5), Decree No. 14 / E / KPT / 2019.
Beginning in 2020, the display of OJS is presented in English.
Psikoislamika had two template changes in 2020 issues, including volume 17 number 1 and volume 17 number 2. Starting on vol 17 number 2, the publication ethics on copyright has been transferred, from Journal’s copyright to author’s copyright.
Since 2021, Psikoislamika: Jurnal Psikologi dan Psikologi Islam is in collaboration with Asosiasi Psikologi Pendidikan Indonesia (APPI) and Konsorsium Keilmuan Psikologi Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam (K2P-PTKI) and Asosiasi Psikologi pendidikan Indonesia (APPI). Which provides editorial members, peer reviewers, and authors.
By the current changes, we set our further strategies to be internationally recognized and get better reaccreditation. We would like to thank all contributors who have appreciated our strategies to be a better journal publication.
