Malang – Program Studi S1 Psikologi Fakultas Psikologi UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang menjalin kerja sama strategis dengan Rumah Sakit Saiful Anwar Malang (RSSA) dalam rangka mempersiapkan mahasiswa menghadapi Program Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) tahun akademik ini.
Kegiatan sosialisasi ini tidak hanya berfokus pada aspek teknis pelaksanaan PKL, tetapi juga menekankan pentingnya pengembangan diri mahasiswa melalui pendekatan experiential learning, di mana mahasiswa belajar secara langsung dari pengalaman nyata di setting layanan kesehatan. Melalui interaksi dengan klien, observasi kasus, serta keterlibatan dalam kegiatan profesional di rumah sakit, mahasiswa diharapkan mampu menginternalisasi pengetahuan psikologi secara lebih mendalam dan kontekstual.
Dalam sambutannya, WD 1 Bu Dr. Muallifah, M.A. menegaskan bahwa kerja sama ini merupakan langkah strategis untuk menjembatani kesenjangan antara teori akademik dan praktik profesional. Mahasiswa didorong untuk mengembangkan kompetensi klinis sekaligus kapasitas reflektif, sehingga mampu memahami dinamika psikologis individu secara komprehensif.
Lebih lanjut, kegiatan PKL ini dirancang selaras dengan Capaian Pembelajaran Lulusan (CPL), khususnya dalam membentuk mahasiswa yang mampu menunjukkan sikap profesional dengan menjunjung tinggi nilai moral dan spiritual, serta memiliki kedisiplinan dalam menjalankan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya. Nilai-nilai tersebut diharapkan tercermin dalam etika berinteraksi dengan klien, kepatuhan terhadap prosedur rumah sakit, serta komitmen terhadap integritas profesi.
Melalui kerja sama ini, mahasiswa akan mendapatkan kesempatan untuk belajar secara langsung di lingkungan rumah sakit dengan pendampingan dari supervisor profesional, yaitu psikolog yang memiliki keahlian di bidang psikologi klinis. Proses supervisi ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai kontrol kualitas praktik, tetapi juga sebagai sarana mentoring dalam pengembangan sikap profesional, keterampilan klinis dasar, serta kemampuan refleksi diri mahasiswa.
Pihak RSSA Malang menyampaikan komitmennya dalam memberikan bimbingan yang optimal agar mahasiswa memperoleh pengalaman belajar yang bermakna (meaningful learning experience), sekaligus membentuk kesiapan mereka untuk terjun di dunia kerja, khususnya dalam bidang layanan kesehatan mental.
Dengan adanya kolaborasi ini, diharapkan mahasiswa Prodi S1 Psikologi UIN Maliki Malang tidak hanya unggul secara akademik, tetapi juga matang secara personal dan profesional, serta siap memberikan kontribusi nyata bagi masyarakat.
